BARVIDA seeks office space at Mongla port

The Bangladesh Reconditioned Vehicles Importers and Dealers Association (BARVIDA) on Monday sought an office space at Mongla port.

It also wanted port entry pass for members.

The request was made during a meeting of the BARVIDA with Mongla Port Authority chairman M Shahjahan, according to a press statement.

The BARVIDA leaders thanked the chairman for providing all-out cooperation at the port.

They laid emphasis on improving the port's facilities and easing the services of the port further.

Mr Shahjahan assured the BARVIDA leaders of considering their proposals.

BARVIDA president Abdul Haque led the delegation.

BARVIDA leaders Saiful Islam (Samrat), Jashim Uddin Mintu, Saiful Alam, Benazir Ahmed, Abu Hossain Bhuiyan Ranu, Syed Jaglul Hossain, Ziaul Islam, Ahsanur Rahman Arju, Mahbubur Rahman and Mohammad Mokhlesur Rahman, among others, were present.
