Basil new CEO of Apollo Hospitals Dhaka

Mr R Basil has been appointed executive director & CEO of STS Holdings Ltd. with effect from January 6, 2014, said a press release.
He will be based in Dhaka and will be responsible for leading all the transformational initiatives of the company's healthcare business to achieve greater heights of organic and inorganic growth.
His focus will include clinical and service reputation, financial success, customer satisfaction, employee and physicians' satisfaction/engagement, institutionalisation of new processes and enhancing shareholder value.
In this capacity, Mr Basil will hold full charge as the head of all healthcare businesses of the company such as Apollo Dhaka, the Chittagong Hospital, the Clinics and the planned Medical College that will come under STS Holdings Ltd.
Prior to this appointment, he was the executive president of Apollo Hospitals Group, managing director & CEO of Manipal Health Systems Pvt. Ltd. and vice president of Wipro GE Medical Systems.
