The Bangladesh Commerce Bank Limited (BCB) organised a discussion and doa (special prayers) as part of its programmes to observe the National Mourning Day and the 44th martyrdom anniversary of father of the mation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at the bank's head office in the city recently, says a statement.
Chairman of the bank's board of directors Dr. Engr. Rashid Ahmed Chowdhury attended the programme as the chief guest while director Md. Wahiduzzaman Khandaker was present as the special guest.
The chairman in his speech highlighted the life and sacrifices of Bangabandhu towards building the nation.
