BD civil service (trade) assoc executive body formed

The 15-member new executive committee of the BCS Trade Cadre Association was formed at its Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in the city on Friday, said a media release on Sunday,  reports UNB.

M Shahidul Haque, Controller, Department of Imports and Exports Control, and M Ruhul Amin, Deputy Chief, Textile Cell, Ministry of Commerce, have been elected president and general secretary respectively of Bangladesh Civil Service (Trade) Association executive committee.

Speaking after the election, newly elected President Shahidul Haque stressed dedicating the expertise and skill of the members of the association to the welfare of the nation.

General Secretary Ruhul Amin said there is no alternative to grooming the trade officials as experts in trade related issues to face the ever changing global trade regime.
