BDBL gets new DMDs

Kamal Hossain Gazi and Md Refat Hasan

Md. Kamal Hossain Gazi and Md Refat Hasan have joined the Bangladesh Development Bank Limited (BDBL) as deputy managing directors (DMD) recently.

Mr. Gazi started off his career in 1987 as a senior officer of the Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB). He obtained bachelor's degree in Marketing from Dhaka University in 1986 and master's degree in 1987.

He was also the head of ICB's Central Accounts Division, Legal Affairs, and Money Laundering Divisions and Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram branches.

Md Refat Hasan started off his career as a programmer in the ICB. He obtained bachelor's and master's degree in statistics from Rajshahi University and an MBA (Finance) degree from Dhaka University. He was the general manager of ICB's ICT Division and Equity Entrepreneurs Fund.

He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
