BENGAL COMMERCIAL BANK HOLDS EGM, AGM

Bengal Commercial Bank held its 1st extra-ordinary General Meeting (EGM) and 3rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) at a city hotel recently. Md Jashim Uddin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the bank and President of FBCCI & SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, presided over the meeting. Mahbubul Alam, Vice Chairman of the bank and newly elected President of FBBCI, and Ghulam Mohammed Alomgir, Vice Chairman of the bank, attended the meeting. Tarik Morshed, Managing Director & CEO of the bank, was also present. In the EGM, the shareholders of the bank unanimously adopted a special resolution for changing the name of the bank from 'Bengal Commercial Bank Limited' to 'Bengal Commercial Bank PLC' while the AGM approved the financial statements, audited balance sheet and profit &loss accounts of the bank as on December 31, 2022.
