Bengal Commercial Bank hosts closing ceremony for 'Entrepreneurship Development Program'

Bengal Commercial Bank organised the Certificate Awarding Ceremony marking the end of the month-long "Entrepreneurship Development Program" for the development of the small and medium industries.

The bank conducted the training programme as part of the "Skills for Industry Competitiveness and Innovation Program (SICIP)" project of the Ministry of Finance, supervised by Bangladesh Bank and financed by Asian Development Bank (ADB), says a press release.

K. M. Awlad Hossain, Additional Managing Director & CBO of Bengal Commercial Bank, presided over the ceremony at the Bengal Commercial Bank Training Center in Dilkusha, Dhaka on Tuesday.

Nawshad Mustafa, Director of SMESPD of Bangladesh Bank, was present as the chief guest. Md. Nazrul Islam, Additional Director of SMESPD of Bangladesh Bank; Mohammad Wasim, Joint Director of SMESPD; Rafiq Ahmad, Head of Human Resources Division of Bengal Commercial Bank and Jyotirmoy Chakraborty, Head of SME of the bank attended the ceremony as the special guest.

Certificates and gifts were presented to the 25 trained entrepreneurs. Crests were also handed over to the best three entrepreneurs among the trainees.
