BGMEA, police wary of turmoil before Eid

CHATTOGRAM, May 03: The SP of Industrial Police-3 Muhammed Sulaiman held a meeting with the newly-elected leadership of BGMEA in Chattogram on Monday.

Addressing the meeting the First Vice President of BGMEA Sayed Najurul Islam sought cooperation of the Industrial Police to control any type of turmoil or unwanted situation before Eid in the RMG sector.

Muhammed Sulaiman said, "Industrial police were formed to provide safety to the industries. As the image of the country depends on the RMG sector, industrial police will help control the law and order in the sector."

The meeting was held at the BGMEA hall in Chattogram. The meeting was chaired by First Vice President of BGMEA Sayed Najurul Islam. Among others, Vice President Rakibul Alam Chowdhury, Directors Mohiuddin Chowdhury, Mohammed Hasan Jaky, Tanvir Habib, A M Shafiul Karim Khokan, M Ehsanul Haque, former Directors A N M Saif Uddin, Additional SP of Industial Police Shampa Rani Shaha, Assistant SP Sudip Tripura and Md Jashim Uddin addressed the meeting.
