BIAC, AIA team up to promote ADR services

The Bangladesh Inter-national Arbitration Centre (BIAC) signed an MoU with Akhtar Imam & Associates (AIA), a leading law firm of the country, at a simple ceremony on the BIAC premises on Wednesday, says a press release.
Both the organisations have agreed to mutually cooperate to promote institutional Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) services in the country and beyond.
As per the MoU, they will exchange information and publications of mutual interest in the field of commercial arbitration and mediation and organise seminars, symposia, workshops, roundtables, conferences, awareness and training programmes relating to ADR.
The MoU was signed by Chief Executive Officer of BIAC Kaiser A Chowdhury and Partner of the Chamber Barrister Reshad Imam on behalf of their respective organisations.
Barrister Darras Abdullah, Associate from AIA and General Manager Mahbuba Rahman and Assistant Counsel Asif S Bhuiyan from BIAC were present on the occasion.
