BIBIYANA OPTIMIZATION PROJECT INAUGURATED

State Minister for Power, Energy and Minerals Resources Nasrul Hamid visited Chevron Bangladesh-operated Bibiyana Gas Plant recently. Chevron Bangladesh Managing Director and President Eric M Walker along with Muhammad Imrul Kabir, Director Corporate Affairs, and Carl Bourque, the Bibiyana Gas Plant Superintendent, greeted the state minister. During his visit, Nasrul Hamid inaugurated the Bibiyana Optimization Project by unveiling a stone plaque. Bibiyana Turbo Expander project includes Turbo Expander and Booster Compressor. The Turbo Expander lowers the plant pressure, optimizes gas production and adds to the condensate production.
