The employees of Biman Bangladesh Airlines will stage 3-hour sit-in programme in front of Biman Headquarters at Balaka Bhaban in the city on Wednesday and Thursday to press home their 14-point demand.
Biman Sramik League President Moshiur Rahman announced the fresh programme from a siege programme to the office of Biman Flight Catering Centre (BFCC) at Balaka near the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Tuesday, reports UNB.
Several hundred employees of the national airlines laid siege to the BFCC office for three hours in the morning.
He also threatened to go for tougher movement if their demands go unheeded by this period.
The demands of the Biman employees include introducing uniform allowance for Biman employees, provide dearness allowance and cent per cent medical allowance, changing organogram and provide equal facilities to BFCC employees as provided to the Biman employees.
