Biman gets new board of directors

Former chief of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) Muhammad Enamul Bari has been appointed chairman of a 13-member new board of directors of Biman Bangladesh Airlines for the year 2018.

The board has been reconstituted by the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, said a handout on Wednesday, reports UNB.

Those who have been appointed directors of the board are: Senior Secretary of the Prime Minister's Office (PMO); NBR Chairman Md Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan; Civil Aviation and Tourism Secretary; Senior Secretary to the Finance Division; Secretary of Maritime Affairs Unit Ministry of Foreign Affairs Rear Admiral (Retd) M Khurshed Alam, Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Operation and Training); Engineer-in-Chief of Bangladesh Army; Chairman of Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh; BGMEA President Md Siddiqur Rahman; Supreme Court lawyer Barrister Tanjib-ul Alam; MD of Emerging Credit Rating Ltd Noor-e-Khoda Abdul Mobin, and MD and CEO of Biman Bangladesh Airlines Limited.
