Biman launches another weekly flight to London

Biman Bangladesh Airlines has introduced another weekly flight on the Dhaka-London-Dhaka route. Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rasheed Khan Menon inaugurated the flight at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital Friday. The national flag carrier will operate four flights in a week on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesdays on the route. The flight will depart from Dhaka at 11:00 am and will arrive in London at 04:05 pm (local time). The return flight will start from London at 6:15 pm (local time) and reach Dhaka at 12:00 noon via Sylhet. Biman has been operating Dhaka-London-Dhaka flights since 1972. It will increase more flights in future keeping pace with the growing demand.
