Biman online check-in from June 1

Biman Bangladesh Airlines, the national flag carrier, is set to introduce online check-in services for its domestic passengers from June 1 to facilitate their travel.

Through the digital check-in facility, the passengers would be allowed to choose their seats by themselves as well as to collect boarding pass, thus saving waiting time at the airports to collect it, a statement said on Monday.

Biman said the passengers would login to www.biman-airlines.com to avail the services between maximum 24 hours and minimum three hours ahead of their flight schedule.

Following the web check-in, a traveller would collect hard copy of the boarding pass from the designated counter at the airport by showing the digital boarding pass or its printed version.

The statement said traditional check-in system at the airport would also be available, in addition to the digital services.

The national carrier would also introduce web check-in for the international routes from July 1, it added.
