Blender's Choice OTT and Digital Awards 2021 launched

Ispahani Tea Limited and The Daily Star jointly launched 'Blender's Choice OTT and Digital Content Awards 2021' to honour the biggest names in over-the-top (OTT) media service and content creators.

The ground-breaking event was announced at a press conference at The Daily Star Centre in the city on Monday.

Mahfuz Anam, Editor and Publisher of The Daily Star, Omar Hannan, General Manager, Marketing of Ispahani Tea Limited, Shuvashish Roy, Head of Business at The Daily Star, Shah Mohammad Didarul Hasan, Deputy General Manager, Marketing at Ispahani Tea Limited, and Ajoy Kumar Kundu, Chief Operating Officer, Mediacom Ltd., spoke at the event.

Celebrities, artists, content creators and media people were also present at the event.

Awards will be given under a total of 37 categories and the winners will be named based on selections by a jury panel, comprising media personalities, and votes from audiences combined.

Artists will have to submit their nominations through www.ottdcawards.thedailystar.net, and they can submit as many nominations as they want. Any content released between July 1, 2020 and December 31, 2021 is eligible for nominations. The last date for submission is on May 10, 2022, says a press release.
