BRAC Bank has introduced a scholarship programme to support the education of employees' children with disabilities, reinforcing its commitment to inclusion, dignity, and equal opportunity.
Under the scholarship programme, BRAC Bank will provide monthly financial assistance for each eligible child. The programme was developed following an internal survey to identify employees with children with disabilities, so that support reaches those who need it most, says a press release.

This scholarship is part of BRAC Bank's Corporate Social Responsibility strategy, designed to create meaningful and lasting impact within the organisation and the wider community. It supports diversity and inclusion by fostering an equitable environment.
Commenting on the initiative, Tareq Refat Ullah Khan, Managing Director and CEO of BRAC Bank, said: "BRAC Bank believes inclusion must be practised, not just discussed. This scholarship is a small but genuine step towards easing the educational path for children with disabilities."
This initiative demonstrates BRAC Bank's ongoing commitment to embedding social responsibility in its culture, ensuring compassion, and empathy remain central to its operations.
