BREB's call to ensure power connections by Aug 20

The Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (BREB) has urged the subscribers who are yet to get electricity connections to contact the local Palli Bidyut offices by August 20 to make sure they get the connections.

The BREB has made the call in a statement recently as it has ensured hundred per cent electricity coverage in 461 upazilas under its 80 Palli Bidyut Samitis across the country.

The BREB is conducting an awareness campaign in those areas so that the subscribers ensure their electricity connections.

The BREB success comes under Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's 'Power for All Households campaign in line with the target to build Sonar Bangla as envisioned by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

The BREB authorities expressed their gratitude to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as the success was achieved as per her guidance and instructions.
