BR’s service & security week begins in Ctg

The 'Service and Security Week 2019' of Bangladesh Railway (BR) began in Chattogram on Thursday amid huge response and cooperation by the city-dwellers and much enthusiasm from the railway passengers.

General Manager of BR Eastern Zone Nasir Uddin Ahamed inaugurated the service and security week at Chattogram Rail Station in the morning as the chief guest.

After inaugurating the event, Nasir Uddin talked to the passengers, guests and participants at the ceremony. He also spent some times with the passengers of 'Mohanagar Probhati' train heard complains from them.

A rally was brought out from the railway station. Divisional Manager of BR Md Borhan Uddin led the rally. Additional GM of BR Eastern Zone Sardar Shahadat Ali, Chief EngineerMd MIjanur Rahman, Chief Signal Engineer Ashim Kumar Talukdar, AGM Md Mijanuar Rahman and RNB Chief Commandant Md Ikbal Hoosain also addressed the function as special guests.

It may be mentioned that the functions were arranged also to mark the founding anniversary of Railway Ministry.
