BRTA service resumes

The Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) resumed all services on Monday as its server has become operational once again, reports bdnews24.com.

The BRTA issued an urgent notification stating: "Now that the server and IS installed in the BRTA building are operational, services related to motor vehicle registration, transfer of ownership, fitness, tax-token and route permits, updating or renewing driving license, driving licence tests, advance payment of income tax, etc are active again."

"Under the circumstances, all concerned are requested to contact the BRTA circle office to avail relevant services immediately."

BRTA Chairman Gautam Kumar Saha told bdnews24.com: "Our server was activated on Sunday. We did not face any issues yesterday, so we have resumed operations in full swing across the country today (Monday). We issued a notification about this."
