BSAA holds AGM

CHITTAGONG, Aug 21: The annual general meeting (AGM) of Bangladesh Shipping Agents' Association (BSAA) was held in the port city on Wednesday.

Chairman of the BSAA KM Mahmudur Rahman presided over the AGM.

The AGM approved the annual report and audited report for the year that ended on December 31, 2013 and took decision to appoint an audit firm for the year 2014.

The AGM also decided to settle the unresolved issues of the BSAA with the National Board of Revenue, Chittagong Port, Custom House, Custom, Excise and Vat, Bangladesh Bank and other financial institutions.

Among others, senior vice chairman, vice chairman and directors of the management board of the association were present at the meeting.
