The Bangladesh Semiconductor Industry Association (BSIA) is set to launch its USA Roadshow 2026 under the Silicon River and BRAINGAIN initiatives to deepen Bangladesh's engagement with the global semiconductor industry and mobilize Bangladeshi-origin technology leaders worldwide.

The multi-city roadshow, scheduled for June 5-13, will bring together semiconductor companies, universities, accelerators, entrepreneurs, researchers, investors, policymakers and members of the Bangladeshi diaspora across the United States, said a press release on Thursday, reports BSS.

Led by BSIA President M. A. Jabbar and Purdue University Professor Muhammad Mustafa Hussain, chief architect of the Silicon River Bangladesh Initiative, the delegation will engage with leading industry players, academic institutions and innovation hubs to explore opportunities for collaboration in semiconductor workforce development, research, innovation and entrepreneurship.

The programme will begin in Austin, Texas, on June 5 with meetings at AMD, Tokyo Electron (TEL) and NXP Semiconductors, focusing on workforce development and industry partnerships.

A BRAINGAIN reception lunch on June 6 and a reception dinner in Phoenix, Arizona, on June 7 will bring together Bangladeshi-origin semiconductor professionals, researchers, entrepreneurs and technology leaders.

On June 8, the delegation will visit Arizona State University (ASU) and Cactus Materials to discuss university-industry collaboration, advanced materials research, innovation and entrepreneurship.

The roadshow will continue in Silicon Valley on June 9 with meetings at SanDisk and GlobalFoundries, followed by engagements with technology stakeholders and industry leaders.

On June 10, the delegation will visit Synopsys and Credo Technology Group in Folsom, California, before hosting another BRAINGAIN reception dinner.
