BSTI allows Five-star Energy Rating labels for Konka freezers

The Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI) has allowed the use of the internationally-recognised Five-star Energy Rating labels on five models of the Konka brand refrigerators/ freezers, says a statement.

The BSTI gave the permission on September 8 last.

From now on, the manufacturer will be able to use the label on their five models, namely KRT-200GB, KRT-240GB, KRB-200GB, KRB-230GB and KDF-200GB.

In energy rating, the strength of star marks indicates the energy efficiency level of any electronic product.
