A new board of Bangladesh Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BWCCI) for 2014-16 has been formed with Vice Chairperson of Nitol-Niloy Group Selima Ahmad as President.
Hasina Newaaz, Proprietor of Orchid Printers, has been named Senior Vice President while Selina Quader, Proprietor of Agro Concern Vice President of the BWCCI board. Fazwia Naaz, Proprietor of F. N. Intl is the Treasurer of the board, the BWCCI said Sunday in a release.
The board was formed after the 9th annual general meeting of the chamber at the Diploma Engineer's Institute on Saturday with current President Sangita Ahmed in the chair.
Other members of the new BWCCI board members are Farzana Chowdhury, Managing Director and CEO of Green Delta Insurance Co. Ltd;. Gulshan Nasreen Chowdhury, Proprietor of Radiant Institute of Design; Soheli Akter Beg, Owner of Beg Steel Industries Ltd; Tania Wahab, Proprietor of Karigar; Tania Karim, Proprietor of NR Khan & Associates; Ridma Khan, Proprietor of Ambon Properties; Farkhunda Jabeen Khan, Proprietor of Maks Attires; Yasmeen Sadique, Owner of Dawn Grammar School Limited; Farjana Fatema Borna, Proprietor of Bornali and Monira Sultana, Proprietor of Apon Ghar.
