BWCCI wins APAC Int'l Chamber of Commerce Award

Bangladesh Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BWCCI) has won the APAC 2018 International Chamber of Commerce Award in recognition of its contribution to women empowerment in the country.

EventBank, the leading provider of the chamber of commerce management and event management software, recently announced the winners of the 2nd annual APAC 2018 International Chambers of Commerce Awards.

This year, the awards were given under five categories and BWCCI has won the award in 'Large Chambers of the Year' category, said a BWCCI press release on Sunday.

This award recognises BWCCI's efforts toward improving its communities, especially for women empowerment, during past years for efficient chamber operations, happy members, innovative engagement programmes and events, it added.

The International Chamber of Commerce Awards were announced during the first-ever online conference for chambers in the Asia Pacific titled 'APAC 2018 Chambers of Commerce Online Conference' held on March 12.
