CEMS fairs get good response

Participants of the four international exhibitions got better response from customers on the concluding day of the fairs on Saturday.

"Around 1,500 visitors registered their name in the fair till the Saturday evening while the number of visitor was 1200 and 700 on Friday and Saturday respectively," CEMS international coordination manager Sharif Hussain told the FE.

Regarding the spot order and enquiries, Mr Hussain said: "Generally we collect the information in this regard on the closing day. We are collecting it and it will take some time to be complied."   

The participants from home and abroad expressed the hope that they would get positive feedback from the customers after the fair.

CEMS (Conference and Exhibition Management Services Ltd) Global organised three-day-long four exhibitions named--13th Power Bangladesh 2014, 8th Solar Bangladesh 2014 at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC).

The expo focused on power generation, transmission, alternative power, solar power, energy, renewable energy, construction materials for real estate sector, its method and equipment.

These exhibitions brought together under one roof all stakeholders in power, solar, renewable power and construction materials.

Besides the host country, participants came from China, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Sri Lanka, the United Kingdom and the United States of America.

Around 150 stalls were installed at the fairs.
