CEMS-Global textile expos begin on Nov 6

A set of three expositions showcasing textiles, yarn, and their related chemicals and machinery will begin at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Centre (BCFEC) at Purbachal in Dhaka on November 6, aiming to boost the country's economy.

This is the 23rd Bangladesh edition of the exhibition.

Organiser of the four-day trade events, CEMS-Global USA, a US-based trade show organiser, made the announcement at a press conference at a city hotel on Monday.

The trade events are '23rd Textech Bangladesh 2024 Expo', '22nd Dhaka International Yarn and Fabric Show 2024' and '45th Dye+Chem Bangladesh 2024 International Expo'.

Meherun N. Islam, president and group managing director of CEMS Global USA & Asia-Pacific, said the exhibitions will bring together key manufacturers from across the globe to highlight the latest advancements, innovations, and trends in the textile supply chain sector.

These exhibitions are the largest business-to-business (B2B) meeting place for buyers and suppliers who can make direct communication to expand business, she said.

"Garment and textile industry related buyers and suppliers can come together under one roof saving their money, labour and valuable time," she said adding that the expected participation of foreign business delegates at the imminent event will also add a different dimension to Bangladesh's tourism.

The exhibitions will remain open to the business visitors upon registration every day from 10:00 am to 7 pm.

Textech Bangladesh Expo will offer a unique opportunity for manufacturers, suppliers, and industry experts to explore the latest innovations in textile production, garment machinery, and related technologies, according to the organisers.

It is set to be one of the premier platforms for the textile and garment industry for Bangladesh and South Asia, showcasing cutting-edge textile garment technology and machinery.

The expo on textile chemical and solution will highlight on the latest dyestuff and chemical solutions for the textile industry, with an emphasis on sustainability and innovation in dyes and chemical processes.
