Certificate course on climate change

Dhaka International University (DIU), WARBE Development Foundation and Secretariat of Bangladesh Parliamenta-rians Caucus on Migration and Development (BPCMD) formally launched a certificate course on ‘Climate Change, Displacement and Migration’ recently, says a press release.

BPCMD Chairperson Barrister Shameem Haider Patwary, MP, inaugurated the certification programme as the chief guest.

DIU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Ganesh Chandra Saha, Bangladesh Centre for Advanced Studies (BCAS) Executive Director Dr Atiq Rahman, DIU Registrar Prof Md Rofiqul Islam and Law Faculty Dean Prof Dr AWM Abdul Huq, WARBE Chairman Syed Saiful Haque, WARBE Director Jasiya Khatoon, Strength-ened and Informative Migration System, HELVETAS Team Leader Katrin Rosenberg, and training and communication expert Md Riaz Uddin Khan, among others, were present on the occasion.
