Chinese Ambassador in Dhaka Yao Wen on Tuesday paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister's Adviser on Politics and Agriculture Nazrul Islam Khan at the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) in the city's Tejgaon area, reports BSS
During the meeting, they discussed different issues related to mutual interest between Bangladesh and China, Prime Minister's Deputy Press Secretary Jahidul Islam Rony said.
They also held detailed discussions on modern agricultural technology, afforestation activities for environmental protection, and skill development programmes in the education sector.
Prime Minister's Adviser Nazrul Islam Khan sought more active cooperation from China in these sectors.
