The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) Bangladesh organised a Business Leaders' Summit in the capital recently to look at the changing trends and future prospective of businesses nationally, says a statement.
The summit comprised three sessions. The themes of the sessions were to look at the disruptions in the business world and the ways to adapt, and deal with further impediments. Chairman of Financial Reporting Council (FRC) Bangladesh, CQK Mushtaq, was present as the chief guest and presided over the event where telecommunications, health care, retail and banking were among the agenda. Speakers and experts from India and Bangladesh shared their thoughts on the topics.
Mid-east, South Asia, North Africa (MESANA) and CIMA Board Chairman and Director of Pubali Bank Kabiruzzaman Yaqub, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Robi Axiata Limited Mahtabuddin Ahmed and Finance Director of Glaxo SmithKline Bnagladesh Limited Zinnia Tanzina Huq presented the key note.
