The concluding workshop of agricultural research projects conducted under the guidance of Bangladesh Bank and funded by the 'Special CSR Grant' of Dutch-Bangla Bank was held at a hotel in Dhaka recently.
Abul Kashem Md. Shirin, Managing Director and CEO of Dutch-Bangla Bank, presided over the inaugural session of the event, says a statement.
In his speech at the inaugural ceremony, Mr. Shirin said, "With the support of Dutch-Bangla Bank, research projects have been successfully implemented in different regions of the country in the area of crop, fisheries, poultry, irrigation and food processing & storage."
Dr. Md. ManjurulAlam, Chairman of the Special CSR Committee of Dutch-Bangla Bank, presented a paper on the brief results and successes of the projects. A total of seven technology innovation projects were implemented at the farmer level in different regions of the country during the period 2023-2025 with the funding of Dutch-Bangla Bank.
The results of seven research projects were presented in the technical session chaired by Dr. Md. Manjurul Alam and Professor Imdadul Haque Chowdhury.
