A ten-day programme marking the International Women's Day concluded at the Lakeshore Hotel in the capital recently, says a statement.
Unilever Bangladesh Limited (UBL) and UN Women jointly organised the closing ceremony with colourful programmes.
High officials and other employees the UBL and UN Women Bangladesh, chief executive officers (CEO) and HR directors of different organisations, and the faculty members from reputed universities also attended the event.
Key topics, including women empowerment and their participation in corporate Bangladesh came up for discussion during the 10-day event.
The participants pledged to empower women and create greater opportunities for them.

The event was inaugurated through a colourful ceremony on Feb 25.
