Managing Director and CEO of Community Bank Bangladesh PLC. Masihul Huq Chowdhury hands over Tk 1.5 million in financial assistance to Chief Executive Officer of Sajida Foundation Zaheda Fizza Kabir for poor dialysis patients. Community Bank Bangladesh PLC. has provided Tk 1.5 million in financial assistance through Sajida Foundation to support impoverished patients who require dialysis.
The initiative aims to ensure that no patient experiences financial hardship when receiving treatment for kidney complications, says a press release.
The financial assistance was provided at Sajida Foundation's Gulshan office on November 26 under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.
During the event, Masihul Huq Chowdhury, managing director and CEO of Community Bank, handed over the pay order to Zaheda Fizza Kabir, chief executive officer of Sajida Foundation. Senior officials from both organisations were present on the occasion.
