Countrywide SME fairs planned

The SME Foundation will hold countrywide SME fairs in the current fiscal, aiming to create new small and medium entrepreneurs (SMEs) and expand the SME product market. As part of the plan, a weeklong SME fair will be held in Dhaka city while a three-day regional fair in seven divisional headquarters each. Another SME fair will be arranged in Rangamati hill district to popularise the products of the region. The weeklong national SME fair in Dhaka will begin on February 15 next at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre, said an SME Foundation press release on Thursday, according to a news agency.
