CHITTAGONG, Jan 2: The govt. has appointed Julfiquer Aziz as chairman of the Chittagong Port Authority (CPA). He has been posted on deputation to the port chairman from Bangladesh Navy, a circular issued by the ministry of public administration said today.
Prior to this appointment, Mr Aziz was the Member (Engineering) of the Port Authority. Meanwhile, another Navy Officer Khondokar Akter Hossain has been appointed as Member (Engineering) of the Chittagong Port Authority.
The service of CPA Chairman Rear Admiral M Khaled Iqbal has been vested with the Bangladesh Navy.
