A dialogue on Trade Facilitation in South Asia through Transport Connectivity: Operationalising the Motor Vehicle Agreements (MVAs), arranged by Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) will be held today (Saturday) at 10.00 am at the BRAC Centre Inn Auditorium in the city. Md Obaidul Quader, MP, Minister for Road Transport and Bridges, Government of Bangladesh will be the Chief Guest at the dialogue. Pankaj Saran, High Commissioner, Indian High Commission in Bangladesh and Hari Kumar Shrestha, Ambassador, Royal Nepalese Embassy in Bangladesh will attend the programme as Special Guests. Abdul Matlub Ahmad, President, Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) will be present as the Guest of Honour. Professor Mustafizur Rahman, Executive Director, CPD will make the keynote presentation while Professor Rehman Sobhan, Chairman, CPD will chair the session.
