DCCI names Abul Kasem a director candidate

The Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) nominated its former president Abul Kasem Khan as a candidate for the post of a director in the upcoming election of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI).

Mr. Khan is a regular taxpayer of the Large Tax Payers' Unit (LTU) and he was also awarded as the best taxpayer in the fiscal year (FY) 2013-14.

The National Board of Revenue (NBR) sent a correction letter to the FBCCI regarding the updated taxpayer's information of the director candidate.

The NBR letter stated that Abul Kasem Khan, a potential director candidate in the FBCCI election, is not a tax defaulter.
