Digital fair begins in Trishal

MYMENSINGH, Apr 11 (BSS):  A three-day long Digital Fair-2015 began on the premises of Nazrul Academy in Trishal upazila of the district Saturday.

It was organised by district and upazila administration to involve people with ICT in getting government services.

Deputy commissioner Mustakim Billah Faruqui inaugurated the fair as the chief guest while UNO Mahbub Hasan Shahen was in the chair.

The function was addressed, among others, by upazila chairman Joinul Abedin, vice chairman Lutfunnessa, associate prof of Kabi Nazrul University AHM Kamal, upazila agriculture officer Mizanur Rahman and upazila fishery officer Mohsen Ali.

The chief guest said digitisation is an essential part of our daily life as it has already achieved success in various sectors especially Information Communication and Technology (ICT) sector in the country.
