DMCB opens 127th branch in Ctg

The Dhaka Mercantile Co-operative Bank Limited (DMCB) opened its 127th branch (Kalurghat Branch) at Chandgaon in Chattogram city recently, says a statement.

Chairman of the bank Group Captain (Retired) Abu Zafar Chowdhury attended the Kalurghat Branch inauguration ceremony as the chief guest.

Speaking on the occasion, he said: "Through this branch, we want to reach our cooperative service to all small and medium business entrepreneurs of this region, through which every businessman will get rid of the slavery of capital loss and receive inspiration to be self-reliant."

Vice-chairman Pilot Officer (Retired) Syed Ali Mokarrum, senior officials of the head office, branch manager and local eminent citizens and businessmen were present, among others.
