Donate for flood victims thru Nagad

Well-off individuals can now extend financial assistance to flood victims as around 200 charitable organisations are collecting donations through Nagad.
To maximise the impact of public generosity, Nagad has waived all service charges on these transactions, ensuring that 100 per cent of donations reach the designated charities. Donors can contribute easily through the Nagad app or by dialling *167#, says a press release.
Speaking on the initiative, Muhammad Zahidul Islam, head of Nagad's Media & Communications, said, "To make it easier for Nagad customers to support people in need, the country's leading charitable organisations have been brought onto the platform. Customers are not charged any fee for making donations. By providing comprehensive support to organisations working in response to humanitarian needs, Nagad is playing its role as a responsible corporate organisation."
