Doreen hosts property fair

The Doreen Developments Ltd is hosting a three-day property fair in Dhaka city to showcase some exclusive properties available in the real-estate market.

The company has organised the fair styled 'Doreen Monsoon Luxury Property Fair' at Doreen Tower for the first time.

The event ends today (Saturday).

Subhadip Mukherjee, head of brand at Doreen, told the FE that the growth of economy as well as the real-estate industry every five years is at its best.

However, the growing price hike of raw materials like cement, rod and property registration fees are major challenges for the sector's further growth and stability, he observed.

"There is a strong middle income group who are the major target group of the real estate and such growing price hike of raw materials is immensely affecting them," said Mr Mukherjee.

He sought the government's intervention to arrest the price hike to specially support the allied industries and buyers.

The fair will continue from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm daily.

According to the organisers, Doreen Monsoon Luxury Property Fair will cater to all desires and expectations of buyers in the real-estate market.

Additionally, a team of seasoned real-estate experts are available to offer tailored advice and industry insights, ensuring that clients have the support to make the best choice, they said.
