Renowned agricultural scientist Dr Md Manjurul Kadir has been appointed the Director General (routine duties) of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI).
The appointment was made through an official order issued by the Ministry of Agriculture. Prior to this new assignment, he served as the Director of the Oilseed Research Centre at BARI.
Dr Kadir began his career at BARI in 1992 as a Scientific Officer, says a press release.
