Dr Md Salim Uddin has been re-appointed as the chairman of the Board of Directors of Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation (BHBFC), says press release.
The Financial Insti-tutions Department (FID) issued a circular regarding the re-appointment on Wednesday.
Dr Salim, a Professor of the Accounting Depart-ment at Chittagong University, has been assigned to the post for the fourth time in a row.
Dr. Salim is also currently serving as the president of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) and the chairman of the Board of Directors of Union Bank.
Previously, he served as the Chairman of the Executive Committee of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited, Rupali Investment Ltd and as a Director of Chittagong Stock Exchange Ltd.
Born in 1966 in Daulatpur village of Fatikchari Upazila of Chattogram, Dr Selim obtained master's degree securing 1st class (first position) from the accounting department of Chittagong University and joined the same department as a teacher later.
