A month-long Entrepreneurship Development Training Programme, jointly organised by Bangladesh Bank and Trust Bank PLC under the 'Skills for Industry Competitiveness and Innovation Programme (SICIP') ended in Rangamati recently. The programme, implemented by the Finance Division, Ministry of Finance, with support from the Asian Development Bank (ADB), aimed to enhance entrepreneurial skills in the hilly region. The closing ceremony was held at the Rangamati Chamber Bhaban on October 13. Nawshad Mustafa, Director, SME and Special Programmes Division, Bangladesh Bank, was present as the chief guest, while Brig Gen (Retd) Shamsuzzaman, SEVP & Principal, Trust Bank Training Academy, chaired the event. Md. Mahboob Hossain, SEVP & Head of Business Division, Md. AyubAli, Deputy Program Director, SICIP, Bangladesh Bank, Md. Ariful Islam, Deputy Director, Bangladesh Bank, and Sadat Ahmed Khan, SVP & Head of SME Division, Trust Bank, were also present. A total of 25 entrepreneurs, including 23 women, received certificates and awards.
