Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) vice-chairman Md Anwar Hossain has laid emphasis on ensuring cargo facilities at Chattogram and Sylhet airports like that at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, reports BSS.
"Bangladesh has huge potentiality to export agricultural products such as vegetable and fruits and live and frozen fish. But due to lack of proper services in airport, the desired growth of exports is being hindered," he said.
The EPB VC said this while a 10-member team headed by him visited the cargo village of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Wednesday, said a press release.
The team included representatives from Bangladesh Biman, Bangladesh Bank, Directorate of Agricultural Extension and Bangladesh Freight Forwarders Association (BAFFA).
