CHITTAGONG, May 21: Epic Properties Ltd has offered discount worth Tk 0.8 million on any flat project for expatriate customers during the weeklong fair beginning from Saturday in Chittagong.
It has been observed from several years' data that a good number of non-resident Bangladeshis are interested to buy flats in the country. But they have to face troubles in doing so as they cannot stay long in their motherland and take quick decisions.
"For those NRB customers, we are offering discount of purchase of one flat based on its size and quality up to Tk 0.8 million (eight lakh) during the Epic Home Fiesta 2015," said Epic Properties MD SM Abu Sufian.
Epic has also undertaken projects for fixed-earning professionals with the provisions of down payment and monthly instalments because it is impossible for them to pay much in purchasing a flat. "Keeping fixed-earning professionals' needs in mind, we have undertaken this project, which we hope will prove very lucrative for the journalists of Chittagong, among other professionals," said Sufian, also chairman of REHAB Chittagong chapter.Privilege Package, the third package, is for those who are eager to buy flats over 2,000 square feet. Those buyers will get 11 days' tour of five countries in Europe after booking of each flat, he said.
He said this at a press conference organised on the occasion of the Epic Home Fiesta 2015, a weeklong fair in the port city's Epic Angan, Chatteswari Road.
Md Mahfujul Bari, head of sales and marketing of Epic Properties Ltd, in a written speech, said that despite business slump, EPIC has completed and handed over 560 apartments to its customers in Dhaka and Chittagong while 235 others are under process of handover within the next two months.
Besides, more than 500 flats of 14 projects are under construction in important locations in Dhaka and Chittagong, he said.Home loans on soft interest rates and other facilities will be provided to buyers, he said, adding that Transcom Ltd will be Home Appliance partner apart from bikroy.com as sales partner and Escape Bangladesh Ltd as tourism partner in the fair.
