FARIDPUR, Apr 6 (BSS): Faridpur Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FCCI), the prime business body of the district elected four new office-bearers Sunday for the period April 2015-April 2017 unopposed.
Md Jahangir Mia- president, Forkan Ahmed Khan- Sr vice president, Nasiruddin Khan- vice-president and Khondoker Shahin Ahmed- vice-president were elected unopposed in the election held Sunday at the chamber house.
Earlier twenty two directors were elected unopposed. The newly elected office bearers were elected from the elected directors.
The oath taking of the newly elected office bearers will be held on April 9 at local Ambica Memorial hall where Overseas Employment and Expatriate Welfare Minister Engineer Khondoker Mosharraf Hossain will be the chief guest.
