FBCCI, Cocoro of Japan sign \\\'letter of cooperation\\\' for boosting trade

A letter of cooperation has been signed between the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) and Cocoro Limited of Japan aiming at strengthening existing economic cooperation between the private sectors of the two countries, reports BSS.
Secretary general of FBCCI Mir Shahabuddin Mohammad and managing director of Cocoro Ltd Ms Yukari Sujuki signed the deal on behalf of their respective sides at a ceremony held at the FBCCI Monday, said a FBCCI press release.
FBCCI president Kazi Akramuddin Ahmed and Chairman of Cocoro Ltd Taku Furukawa witnessed the signing of deal.
Cocoro Ltd will extend cooperation to Bangladesh as a facilitator for expansion of market in Japan for Bangladesh products and boosting Japanese investment in Bangladesh.
Under the agreement, Cocoro will play role in strengthening relations of Japanese investors, trade bodies and firms with Bangladesh private sector players by exchanging necessary information. It will also assist the FBCCI in holding trade related seminars, conferences in Japan.
