FBCCI delegation leaves city to attend business forum in Canada

A 6-member delegation of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) left Dhaka on Sunday to attend 'Bangladesh-Canada Business Forum' and '13th Toronto Global Forum' to be held during September 03-05 in Toronto, Canada.
FBCCI President Sheikh Fazle Fahim led the business delegation, said a statement on Sunday. He will attend the inaugural session of Bangladesh-Canada Business Forum - 2019 tomorrow (Tuesday).
The Consulate General of Bangladesh in Toronto and Ontario Chamber of Commerce (OCC) jointly organised the forum, where the FBCCI chief will present a paper titled "Why and What Canadian Business Should View in Bangladesh".
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the FBCCI and OCC will be signed at the forum in presence of Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi and Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade of Ontario Victor Fedeli.
The FBCCI president will also attend the 13th Toronto Global Forum, which will take place on September 05.
He will speak on 'Industrial Innovation, Accelerating Productivity and Competitiveness' at the forum.
Besides the forum, the FBCCI delegation will also meet the Deputy Mayor of City of Toronto and high officials of Humber Institute of Technology and Advancement Learning, International Training and Development Seneca College and Ontario Institute for Studies in Education Behavioral Economics in Action Rotman of University of Toronto.
FBCCI Vice Presidents Md. Rejaul Karim Rejnu, Nizamuddin Rajesh and Directors Sujib Ranjan Das and Monir Hossain will also attend the forum.
