FDI in the cement sector dropped

Inflow of Foreign Dircet Investment (FDI) in the country’s cement sector dropped in last year (2014) to $24.82 million from $39.06 million in 2013, shows latest statistics available with Bangladesh Bank.
In 2014, only $0.47 million of total FDI in cement sector came was equity capital while $24.34 million came as reinvested earnings of the existing foreign companies.
