Sponsor Director of Mercantile Bank PLC A. S. M. Feroz Alam was elected the chairman of Mercantile Bank securities Limited at the 70th meeting of the Board of Directors of the company held on Tuesday, says a press release.
Feroz Alam, son of late M A Gafur and Shaheda Begum, was born in 1960 in Patuakhali. After completion of his graduation, he started off his business career and established himself as a successful entrepreneur.
Feroz Alam is the Managing Director of Toyo System BD Ltd. He is a sponsor and former chairman of Premier Leasing & Finance Limited.
Feroz Alam is also the founder of Shaheda Gafur Ibrahim General Hospital, Kalaiya, Patuakhali.
